There is no other place like Bali in this world. A magical blend of culture, people, nature, activities, weather, culinary delights, nightlife, and beautiful accommodation.

Bali is rated as one of the best travel destinations in the world by countless websites, review portals, and travel magazines each year – for very good reasons. Whatever your age, background, budget or interest, there is something great for everyone to explore and discover. And that’s a promise.

Do I Need Visa To Going To Bali

Travellers from 60 countries can now obtain a VISA ON ARRIVAL (VoA). LIST.

If your country is not on this list or you travel with a business purpose you still need to apply for a B211A Visit Visa?

The B211A that we facilitate requires a company or travel agency to "sponsor" the visa, which is included in our service.

There is no more mandatory quarantine for 3 days. Here are the updated regulations.

When are the best months to travel to Bali?

May, June & September best time – April & October still good

Room prices for these months 30-50% off high season rates.
  • Still dry and less humid
  • Not too crowded
  • Sea conditions excellent
  • Airfares still reasonable
  • Sales in Shops
Best time to visit Bali depends mainly on the weather also high and low season in terms of “school holiday schedules”, which does affect the overall price for accommodation and even the number of people you share the island with.

High season is during July and August, during Easter Holidays, and Christmas / New Year (December till 1st week of January). It is the busiest time in Bal

However, for many reasons, the best time to come to Bali is April, May, June and September, just before and just after high season. It’s still dry season, it’s slightly less humid, and room prices and villa rentals can be 30-50% cheaper than during high season. Many shops offer sales and promotions, restaurants are less crowded in those mid-season months, and in general, Bali is a bit more relaxed. October is not too bad either, still much less rain than November (usually, check the rainfall chart).

Those months are also the best time for water sport activities such as scuba diving, surfing, snorkelling, etc. Waters are clear, crowd not too bad etc. Major activities and attractions such as Bali Zoo, Bali Bird Park, Marine & Safari Park, Waterbom, White Water Rafting, Monkey Forest, etc. have less visitors which make the experience more enjoyable.

If you wish to explore the island and visit the main sightseeing spots, temples and go for a day trip and tour, then those months are also perfect. And not to forget, in general, the traffic and hustle bustle on the roads in the main tourist areas is more bearable. Some tourists love it when it’s busy, and could not imagine a holiday otherwise, but if you like it quieter, then Kuta and Legian, Seminyak during high season might not be the best choice.

Bali Weather & Seasons

Bali is located about 8 degrees south of the equator. Therefore you can expect a tropical, warm and humid climate all year round – with two main distinctive seasons: Dry Season and Rainy Season.

Bali’s central mountains (volcanoes) include several peaks, with mount Agung reaching over 3,000 meters in elevation. Up there, the temperatures are considerably cooler, and there is much more rainfall than in the coastal areas.

Place Interested to Visit In Bali

Bali has literally hundreds of places to visit and things to do - many hidden treasures. If we would have to pick 5, then that's our list:

Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple with Kecak Dance before Sunset, and on the way back fresh BBQ seafood dinner on the beach in Jimbaran.

Daytrip to the Rice Field Terraces (Tegalalang) and a stop at the temples Tirta Empul or Goa Gaja, closing the day with a traditional Dance performance in Ubud with a dinner in one of the many amazing restaurants in Ubud.

Hit one of the amazing Beach Clubs in Canggu, such as the FINNS Beach Club or La Brisa for the day, and if you are up for it, stay till after sunset, when some of the coolest DJs get to work their art.

Visit the Artist Villages of Mas or Celuk, and experience first hand how these masters are carving and creating the most amazing artworks.

The Mountains - Climb Mount Batur or if this is too difficult join for an e-bike tour through the villages and highlands of Bali.

Of course there is more, scuba diving, golfing, trekking, canyoning, rafting, the animal parks, countless temples and religious sites, hundreds of amazing restaurants, bars, and clubs...the list is endless... that's why so many travelers come back.

The Best Way to Get Around Bali

Private Drivers

Bali has many drivers with decent cars ready to offer you their services. You can often simply not miss them. Particularly in the more popular destinations like Ubud, Sanur, Seminyak etc. you will be asked very often by simply walking around if you need “TRANSPORT”.

These drivers are usually locals from that area where they operate and part of the local community. Some of these communities even have organised driver associations that determine the quality of the cars and check that these guys are behaving properly, and are also registered.

The problem is, that it’s sometimes difficult to know what’s the correct price for your drop off; and like in any popular tourism destination in the world, travelers can get overcharged if they don’t know the fair price for a service. Particularly at night when alcohol plays a role.

Transportation Apps like Uber

Uber is not operating anymore in Bali, but there are two amazing transportation apps that allow you to rent Motorbike-Taxis and Cars online, where the prices are transparent and the service excellent. Problem is, that in some areas they are “hated” by the local driver communities and sometimes even beaten up, if they enter their “territory”.

However over the last couple of years during Covid this has subdued and you can get book a transportation online without problems. In Ubud and Sanur the local drivers are still a bit problematic while actually most of them became already GoJek and or Grab drivers and therefore have to provide good service at competitive prices.

GOJEK and GRAB – the most liked and super practical transportation apps

For short distances, you can order a scooter-taxi, GoJek (preferred) & Grab. They are really cheap, provide a helmet and can avoid the main roads where traffic is often too much to bare. For longer distances or if you have luggage etc then order a GoCar online.

For tours and longer distances, we recommend you to hire a car WITH driver (see below). We will soon relaunch our online shop for tours and car rentals from trustworthy operators, that pay their employees a fair salary, pay their taxes, service their cars, have all permits in place, and make sure you are well-taken care of.

Language Spoken In Bali

Bahasa Indonesia, but with English you will have absolutely no problems in Bali. The Balinese speak their own local language among each other (Bahasa Bali). Bahasa Indonesia is fairly easy, and if you manage to remember only a few words, you will open hearts and doors.

Bali is Safe

Yes, for sure it's safer than other places. And single women can travel freely and safely. Of course, like everywhere else in the world, where there is tourism, there is crime and scam. But if you keep a normal level of common sense and don't fall into the traps of senseless drinking and drugs, you should be fine.

The biggest threat is probably when untrained drivers rent a scooter and overestimate their skills and underestimate the complexity of the traffic.
